Shipping, Cancellation and Return Policy
Processing and Payment
Once an order has been received, HoseTechniques will begin processing the order and will ship the order for in-stock merchandise as soon as payment is authorized.
Shipping Agents
HoseTechniques uses several shipping companies including the US Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS) and Federal Express (FedEx) to ship our item(s) worldwide. HoseTechniques reserves the right to substitute shipping carriers based on delivery time and/or shipping rates.
Shipping and Handling Rates
All shipping rates are calculated based on dimensions, weight, destination and handling. HoseTechniques reserves the right to modify shipping and handling rates at any time and without notification.
Delivery/Transit Times
Orders are shipped from the distribution warehouse in Torrance, California. Arrival of an order varies depending on the chosen shipping preference.
Ground shipping
HoseTechniques utilizes a first-in, first-out system of orders received. In general, orders for item(s) that are in-stock are processed and usually shipped within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Orders ship out Monday through Friday at approximately 4 pm Pacific Standard Time (PST.) Orders received after business hours or on weekends will generally be shipped the next business day.
Express shipping (Next Day, 2nd Day, and 3rd Day)
HoseTechniques gives priority to express orders. Express orders for in-stock item(s) are usually shipped within 24 hours of receipt, excluding weekends and holidays. If an express order is placed before 12 noon PST, it will usually ship out the same day.
Order Status System and Shipment Tracking
The HoseTechniques website offers a real-time Order Status System. A link to the Order Status System will be contained in confirmation emails associated with orders. To review the status of orders, zip code and order number are required.
Item(s) not in Stock
HoseTechniques attempts to keep the website inventory up to date though item(s) may occasionally be out of stock. In such a circumstance, HoseTechniques sends notification via email. The customer may then choose another item in stock, place that item on back order, remove it from the order, cancel the order or place the order temporarily on hold until the desired item is in stock. Due to manufacturing processes, HoseTechniques can only provide an estimate as to when an out of stock item will be available.
Whatever method is chosen, HoseTechniques will adjust the monetary portion of the order to reflect the customer’s choice and the appropriate adjustment will be issued that is consistent with the original method of payment.
Return policy
In the case of a return, a request stating the reason for the return is to be made to HoseTechniques within 30 days of receipt of goods to obtain a Returning Goods Authorization Number (RGA#). This may be done by phone, email or fax. Goods returned without the RGA# will be refused.
All item(s) must have an RGA# clearly written on the package and be received by HoseTechniques in new, unused and ready-to-sell condition (including all original packaging, parts, and paperwork) to receive a refund, excluding any shipping costs.
HoseTechniques does not accept returns on used, damaged or installed item(s). HoseTechniques will not reimburse labor charges or installation fees under any circumstances. All returned goods must pass an inspection before any credit will be issued. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee and require inspection before a credit is issued. Return procedure
Within 30 days of receiving shipment of goods to be returned, the customer must notify HoseTechniques via telephone, fax or email and request a Returning Goods Authorization Number (RGA#).

In all correspondence regarding a return, include the following: email address, zip code, order number and detailed explanation of the reason for the return of the item(s) received.
HoseTechniques will respond within two business days confirming the request and issue an RGA# for those returns acceptable according to the return policy detailed above. Shipments received without a valid RGA# number clearly posted on the outside of the package will be refused and returned to sender.
HoseTechniques is not responsible for item(s) returned without proper return information (customer's name, address and RGA#) on the box. It is recommended that customers insure a returning package and obtain a tracking number, as HoseTechniques is not responsible for packages not received.
Defective item(s)
If customers receive an item in an unacceptable condition (i.e. manufacturer defect), contact HoseTechniques at returns@hosetechniques.com.

All returned item(s) will be inspected upon receipt and must meet the following criteria for a credit:
The original credit card used to place the order will be credited for the purchase price of the item and any applicable sales tax, excluding all shipping costs and fees. HoseTechniques will send an email confirming receipt of the return and the credit. The customer can expect the credit to be applied to their account within 5-7 business days.
Exchanges/Replacements
Item(s) to be replaced must meet the same conditions as item(s) returned to HoseTechniques for a refund. An RGA number is necessary for all exchange/replacements. Non-defective item(s) returned for exchange must be in new and ready-to-sell condition with all original packaging, paperwork and parts included.
If a replacement is requested, HoseTechniques will ship the new item after receipt and processing of the return within 5-10 business days.
Replacement item(s) needed right away, HoseTechniques suggests placing a new order on the website, via email (sales@HoseTechniques.com) or via phone (866-GOT-HOSE) for expedited ordering. Express shipping charges may apply for rush orders.
Cancellation Procedure
After an approved order is received by HoseTechniques, there may be a legitimate reason to cancel one or more item(s) on the order or the entire order. The authorized procedure for canceling an order and terminating the legal obligation to the supplier are listed below:
